Scary Beasties have created versions of their educational SKY Kids games, Smoothie Counter and Cupcake Bake, to play on SKY Q and Glass. The games have been converted for TV screens and to allow them to be controlled with a SKY remote control.
Both games make maths fun as children take part in a range of fun-packed mini games. Chopping, baking, blending, pouring and decorating. Kids will absorb a host of numeracy skills as they create delicious smoothies and cupcakes.
Scary Beasties designed the games to teach curriculum-based mathematical topics in an exciting way. Created to cover the wide-ranging abilities of children from age 3 – 9, both games are split into three different sections: Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Written in HTML5, the games can also still be found in the main SKY Kids App on Apple Appstore and Google Play.
