Scary Beasties is delighted to have been nominated alongside BBC Worldwide for a Children’s BAFTA. Our app, Hey Duggee: We Love Animals has been nominated in the Interactive category. Results are announced on 26 November 2017 at the Roundhouse.

Based on Studio aka’s BAFTA award-winning children’s show, players can join Duggee and the Squirrels in an interactive app that encourages exploratory and open-ended gameplay. From the game’s central map, there are four locations to visit: a park, some woods, the beach and a field. Starting with just one animal in each location, players are taken through a step-by-step guide on how to care for their animals. As they interact with their environment, they’ll learn to spot what an animal needs to keep it happy. Whether it’s a chicken, a rabbit, a cat or a hedgehog it’ll need to be fed, watered, washed and exercised – not to mention a bit of extra TLC when it’s feeling under the weather. Players will need to keep a watchful eye on their expanding menagerie if they’re to be awarded their We Love Animals badge!
