Scary Beasties developed the app “Ricky Zoom: Welcome to Wheelford” for Entertainment One to coincide with the launch of a new preschool TV series, Ricky Zoom.

Designed as an introduction to the world of Wheelford and its characters, Scary Beasties was commissioned to develop a 3D experience packed with fun mini games and interactive playgrounds where kids can learn the skills required to become a Bike Buddy.

The Scary Beasties team utilised 3D models from the show to create mobile-ready 3D and 2D assets. These assets were then rigged and animated in-house, and used in a series of Scary Beasties-designed game mechanics. The result is an age-appropriate 3D game experience that fully immerses the pre-school player in the world of Ricky Zoom.

In this app you can meet the characters, test out their gadgets and look around the amazing world of Wheelford. Packed with fun mini games and interactive playgrounds kids can learn the skills required to become a Bike Buddy.
